The Enchanted Forest by Sabato Foglia
The music describes an enchanted forest in an imaginary land filled with a race of beneficent humanoids, fairies, trolls, gnomes and all manner of fantastic creatures. The land is at once fantastically beautiful and fierce. The weather is no exception; peaceful at first, turning to furious and deadly in a flash. Hence, the Storm Sequence. The calm that follows the Storm is lyrical and evocative, creating an "All is peaceful in the Valley" atmosphere, with a distant church bell in the distance as it ends.
